Hosting

This site is hosted by Strato AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.

Server logs

On every visit, the hosting provider automatically records IP address, date and time, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, and requested file. Logs are automatically deleted after 7 days unless a security incident requires extended retention. Logs are not merged with other data sources or used to identify individual visitors. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR - legitimate interest in operating a stable, secure website.

Analytics (Matomo)

This site uses Matomo, an open-source web analytics tool self-hosted on the same server as the website. No analytics data is transmitted to any third party. Matomo runs in cookieless mode (no cookies are set on your device), with IP-address anonymisation enabled and respects the browser's "Do Not Track" signal - visitors who send this signal are not recorded. Collected data: anonymised IP, page visited, referrer, timestamp, browser, operating system, screen resolution, and approximate (city-level) location derived from the anonymised IP. The data is used solely to understand site usage in aggregate. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR - legitimate interest in measuring and improving site performance, balanced against the minimal and anonymised nature of the processing.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party fonts, embeds, pixels, or external trackers. All resources are hosted by us.
